Sometimes, there may not be anyone to answer the telephone and you will need to leave a message. This time, we are going to study how to understand the message obtained by the telephone or direct conversation. We will also study how to write message we receive. 


Leaving a Message


Leaving a message is pretty simple. You only need to make sure that you have stated all the most important information: Your Name, The Time, The Reason for Calling, and Your Telephone Number.

Meanwhile, the receiver will take the message so that the recipients will return your call or information.

Here it is an example of a form where we can write the message from the caller.


Reported speech is sometimes used in taking message. You can study Reported Speech in Learning Material Menu.
